Senior Fellowship Programs
Senior Fellowship
Studies show that seniors who are frequently stimulated (mentally, emotionally, and socially) are more likely to retain their physical health and mental well-being. One way to ensure our seniors remain actively engaged is by providing activities for them.
The Concept is to monitor and entertain elderly individuals during the daytime hours. This is an excellent option for those seniors who end up spending the majority of their day by themselves.
KCI Supports the idea that coordinated supportive services for the elderly helps maintain their physical and mental health and improving their quality of life. This is accomplished through workshops/presentations on preventative health care, therapeutic recreation, musical entertainment, games discussion groups, field trips and art/crafts.
Crisis support
If an aging adult is in crisis and meets our income and residency requirements, we help them with emergency financial assistance for their rent, mortgage, utilities, and food.
In the face of daily hardships, members of our community are caught in the difficult predicament of having to prioritize between heating their homes and providing food for their loved ones. We recognize the immense strain these circumstances place on families, and that’s why we are here to offer a helping hand.
Through this initiative, we aim to prevent eviction and utility disconnection, ensuring that families can maintain stable housing, access vital utilities and have consumable food.
