There is a proven benefit to education, proper mentoring and exposure to new experiences. KCI supports the principle that youth, given the opportunity to acquire critical skills to establish a positive future, will avoid negative behavior by focusing on academic and career goals. A.S.P.I.R.E. (Assisting Students Potential In Realizing Excellence addresses the issue by working to allow youth to become connected and engaged in activities that provide personal and developmental fulfillment.
A.S.P.I.R.E engages youth from the 1st through the 12th grade to provide opportunities and develop skills that will enable them to progress through educational and social challenges.
The A.S.P.I.R.E. programs provide opportunities for students in the area of arts, academics and social interaction to become productive contributors to their community. Our programs are designed for these students to make successful transitions that will prepare them to transition into higher education while incorporating preventive aspects all temptations and ultimate pitfalls of substance abuse, truancy, teenage pregnancy and school failure.
